AMA session with Anti Danilevski for BitGlobal
Founder & CEO of Kick Ecosystem answered the questions from BitGlobal community
On October 13, 2021, BitGlobal exchange has listed your favorite KICK token! In honor of this event, on October 19, BitGlobal team held an AMA session with Kick Ecosystem Founder and CEO Anti Danilevski for their community. Anti answered all the interesting questions from the community, giving details about the project, future plans, and more.
Anti Danilevski:
Glad to be here, and I’ll try to answer all your questions.
Xinmae:
Hi~Can you tell us a little about yourself, what motivated you to start Kick Ecosystem?
Anti Danilevski:
Good question, hold on. I had my bio ready somewhere, but I’ll try to be short here.
Xinmae:
No problem~
Anti Danilevski:
I’ve started my career in 1994, while I’ve been 14 years old, as a game scripter, later — as a game designer. It was a tough time in Russia, but I’ve been earning whole $250 per month then, and it was enough to maintain my family — actually, it was very good for a teenager. And I loved computer games since I’ve been 6 years old, so I was pretty happy to work in the game industry (and, as a pet project, I am developing something outside of Kick Ecosystem, but it’s a secret).
About Kick Ecosystem and fundraising…
I’ve started working with fundraising in 2009 year when I’ve been trying to raise money at Kickstarter for my own mobile game. We have raised $30k (out of $100k required), and I realized how difficult it is for indie developers to do so.
So, I decided to make my own fundraising platform for small developers, with a different model than Kickstarter had. In 2014 I’ve started developing a platform that later was named KickICO, and introduced cryptofundraising. It was developed before the ICO hype and released right when the ICO hype started, so it was a very big luck that I’ve got there right in time. It was a success, we have completed our own ICO on our own platform for ICO!
But it’s been obvious that ICOs are flawed, and this bubble will blow. To fight that we’ve needed a new way of fundraising — fairway, and for that, we’ve needed an exchange. That’s how Kick Ecosystem and KickEX were born. Later, I have invented EIO and described it in our whitepaper. Funny, it was taken by other exchanges within 3 months, but they couldn’t make it right; after that, I have invented AIO, and this is how campaigns on KickICO currently are raising funds. It’s effective and it is entertaining for participants, so we expect some big campaigns to launch on KickICO in 2022 when we’ll finally polish everything.
Xinmae:
It was an interesting experience!
Anti Danilevski:
Oh yes :)
Xinmae:
Question 2! What is Kick Ecosystem?
Anti Danilevski:
Kick Ecosystem is a set of synergistically interacting fintech tools that form a “one-stop-shop” for crypto. Designed to cover all the financial needs of each user from all over the world (and we have them even from Antarctica, can you imagine). The ecosystem includes KickEX exchange, KICK token, KickRef — a very cool referral system with multi-level marketing built-in, KickICO fundraising platform, KickAcademy for learning crypto, KickID, KICK Crypto mobile app for iOS (Android soon).
I’m also aiming for KickPay, so users would pay directly with their mobile devices using PayPass (in some other countries it is called differently). Not so soo, though, for it requires a lot of licensing, etc. But it would be very cool to have just one app to trade, store, send, receive crypto, and also pay with it anywhere.
So, in short — we are building something big, universal, and useful for experienced crypto people, and for newbies, and regular people. Did I answer your question?
Xinmae:
Of course sir, perfect!
Anti Danilevski:
Great!
Xinmae:
Now question 3. How cool is KICK token?
Anti Danilevski:
Oh, it’s cool and it’s also hot! Give me a moment!
We made many experiments before we came to this tokenomics. As you probably know, exchange tokens rocks, because they have real use and the more exchange is developed, the higher is demand, so, it’s great for holders KICK because the higher demand is, the higher the price. But KICK is not just an exchange token, it is a DEFLATIONARY token. It means, each transaction of this token destroys 2,5% of it, so the amount of those tokens are decreasing every day. Interestingly that we have come to this idea before deflationary tokens appeared on the market and became popular, though we have released this system a bit after they did. So, it confirmed our idea that this tokenomics would work.
But, if that’s not enough, there is STAKING embedded in the KICK token smart contract. If you hold KICK, and someone else sends it over the blockchain, 2,5% of EACH such transaction is being redistributed. And if you hold, for example, 1% of total emission — you’ll get a lot of tokens every day.
So, KICK is an exchange token, with built-in burning and staking to reward its holders. You won’t find a more powerful combo, with real economics and real products behind it — this is why KICK is cool, hot, and just great :)
By the way, since July 2021 and KICK v8 release, almost 1% of all total emission was burned. And we’ll burn more until the end of this month.
This process is everlasting, KICK tokens will be burning daily, and long-term holders understand it and acquire more KICK to snowball them. The higher is their stake = the more KCIK they receive for staking and, due to burning, the higher is their % of emission is.
That’s it!
Xinmae:
Wow, It’s definitely cool and hot!
Anti Danilevski:
Thank you :)
Xinmae:
Then why did you call it KICK and what is the meaning of the logo symbol?
Anti Danilevski:
Good catch. We have a philosophy behind everything, and it is not just a random logo.
It was solely my concept and idea. ‘Kick’ is a part of the ‘Kickstart’ concept, the arrows in the logo symbolize three directions of our ecosystem: fundraising, crypto, and community. The new KickICO is not just a platform for fundraising, it’s a platform for the community and their contributions, such as reviews, voting for projects, communications and etc. As well as the entire Kick Ecosystem.
We have yet to release social functions on KickICO, such as reviews and community voting, but it will be there eventually.
Xinmae:
And now next question.
Anti Danilevski:
Sure!
Xinmae:
How big is KICK team and where are they based?
Anti Danilevski:
We have about 60 people in the team, most of them are in Russia because Russian developers are one of the best in the world and about 10+ outsourcers from different countries. Most of them are developers, of course, and about 15 people are operations, marketing, lawyers, product directors and etc. So, we are a pretty big team, though we do not talk about it too much and try to keep developers away from the public, because they are the most vulnerable to attacks, hack attempts, social phishing, etc. So, from the outside, only a few people on the team can be seen, but it is intentional.
Ah, and support, of course, we have 6 people for 24/7 support. So it’s even more than 60 people total working on the project. By the way, our support is the best support I have ever seen in financial/crypto projects, and our community loves them a lot! Like, when you have a problem on some top exchanges, you won’t ever get feedback. Our support solves their situations very fast, often within minutes.
That’s it!
Xinmae:
It’s gonna be a great experience for your users!
Anti Danilevski:
It is :) We are community-focused, so we are doing everything possible (and sometimes impossible) to have our community happy.
Xinmae:
That’s so cool! Let’s start the live part! Anything else you want to know? You guys could ask questions~
Lucile Mosley:
What is the most ambitious goal of your project? What is the ultimate vision that Your project is trying to achieve within the cryptocurrencies market? I would appreciate it if you could share with us any Upcoming Updates?
Anti Danilevski:
The most ambitious goal is IPO. It requires a lot of effort and going via fiat-way, doing venture investment rounds, etc. It will not happen anytime soon, but it is my ultimate goal for the next 5 years.
Isabella Johnson:
Can you share with us your tokenomics? How much is the total and circulation supply of your tokens? Will there be buyback system or token burning in the future?
Anti Danilevski:
After the swap that we had in July 2021, we had 1.5B of tokens. Now it is 1.48b, 12 million were burned during the past months. Sometimes, we burn up to 1 million per day, sometimes 100–300k, but it is guild steady.
Nangong Dream 💎Global high-end:
NFTs are hot trending now, Do you have a play to have NFTs in your platform? If so, can you tell us the plans of your project in NFTs?
Anti Danilevski:
I do not believe in the current NFTs, in my opinion, it is a bubble and a perfect way to launder money. It is absolutely the same as ICOs hype, and it will crash; only then NFT will become something real, as current tokensales became way more safe and real nowadays. So later — yes, no — absolutely no.
NANO SHARK | BTC 100k$:
How old is Your project? What are the major plans ahead? Could you show us an image of your roadmap?
Anti Danilevski:
We’ve started in 2017, so we are pretty old. We wasted a lot of time, though, and did a lot of mistakes, before we managed to find the right way and actually started development. KickEX is about just 6 months old, it started to operate in full power only in Feb-March 2021.
Roadmap is here: https://kickecosystem.com/static/RoadMap.pdf
Vitalia Golovina:
I’ve been a KICK holder for several years now and I believe in the project. Tell me, please, what big changes are waiting for us in the next year?
Anti Danilevski:
Margin trading FTW! Plus Android app (before the end of this year, with iOS released), a lot of tokens listed on KickEX. We are snowballing.
Jamila Sanders:
How does the project increase the token’s value, liquidity, and utility? So that it can lead to an increase in token prices? What is your plan to make your project stable and provide the highest return for investors in the long term?
Anti Danilevski:
The more KickEX and KickICO are developed, the more tokens burned daily, the better for holders. Exchange tokens are great because they are being actually used, and it is what KICK is.
Actually, I have some more time and I will try to answer more questions if you do not mind.
Xinmae:
It’s up to you~
Ariana:
So many projects just like to speak about the “long term vision and mission” but what are your short terms objectives? What are you focusing on right now?
Anti Danilevski:
The short term is launching our secret project, which is our pet project. Should happen before the end of this month, but honestly, I have no idea how it will work out. It’s an experiment, but our burning contest showed good results. So, we shall see! It is a kind of gambling for the huge jackpot in KICK.
SaliGia 🅥 ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~|8¥✈️:
AUDIT plays an IMPORTANT role in enhancing the stability of any PROJECT. Do you have AUDIT CERTIFICATES? Or are you working to AUDIT your project to make it more secure and reliable?
Anti Danilevski:
KICK has a security audit, you may read it here: https://github.com/pessimistic-io/audits/blob/main/KickToken%20Security%20Analysis%20by%20Pessimistic.pdf
SaliGia 🅥 ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~|8¥✈️:
Many projects have problems with UI / UX and this one turns off new users. How do you plan to improve the interaction with new users and with users outside the crypto space?
Anti Danilevski:
We have a focus group of testers, and we regularly provide a google form for our community to collect their feedback about UX/UI. And they help us a lot by providing their feedback and reporting bugs, suggesting ideas, etc. A lot of their ideas were accepted and implemented.
Fumiko Tanaka:
How can users stay updated with this project? Are there channels, including local communities where users can get the latest updates?
Anti Danilevski:
Yes, of course:
https://twitter.com/KickEcosystem
https://twitter.com/AntiDanilevski
https://kickecosystem.medium.com
Ariana:
What are plans for global expansion? Are you focusing on the market at this time or focus on building and developing or getting customers and users, or partnerships?
Anti Danilevski:
We have a worldwide community and a lot of local country groups of KICK. Most active are English, Russian and Arabic. It is weird, because we have a lot of people from Vietnam, but we have no such group — they are mostly using their messenger, Zalo. I would like to grow other countries’ publics, but guess it will come with time.
Monkey D Luffy:
Could you tell me a little bit about Your roadmap going forward, How do you plan onboarding users and gaining more adoption for Your project?
Anti Danilevski:
We plan to release an Android app and margin trading, and then go all-in for marketing. For new users, we will release “offers”, it is like gamify achievements. Do this, receive $X as a reward. It will be live this month, or at the beginning of next.
✈️✈️✈️CALL ME🚀:
What is your strongest advantage that you think will make your team lead the market?
Anti Danilevski:
We have no junior developers on the team. Each member is a senior or leade-level expert. They cost a lot, but it is worth it.
SaliGia 🅥 ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~|8¥✈️:
Security and anonymity are always prioritized by BlockChain projects in the development of project platforms and technologies. So, do you have any technological solutions or plans to enhance user trust in these issues?
Anti Danilevski:
We have developed mosaic wallets. Few know about it, but, for instance, we do not have any private keys stored at all — they are shattered into tiny pieces and distributed, and when required, they are being assembled by mosaic wallets, which also have their own private keys. In the case of the hack, the intruder will not find any key at all.
Nobita Sato:
The crypto industry is a fast-paced industry, how flexible is your Project to change quickly and keep pace with technology trends? What is your long-term vision for the forecasting industry in which your Project project operates?
Anti Danilevski:
I think we are the most experimental team in the crypto field. We do a lot of experiments, some are successful, some are not. I do not think anyone in crypto did so many experiments as we did.
AKA i say DU you say MA (DUMA):
Your Project has a plan to educate the community, thereby raising awareness, applying, and helping more people understand you easily?
Anti Danilevski:
We have a Kick Academy. Currently, webinars, etc, for the Russian community. As soon as we’ll polish it and make sure it is useful and works as intended, it will be translated to other languages (we support about 25 languages currently, I think) and will be available to anyone.
Raa Ft Molina:
The staking program is very important for any project, Can I stake your token? Do you have any plan of starting a staking program?
Anti Danilevski:
Yes, you can. Answered it earlier, but in short, you can hold KICK even on your cold wallet and you will see your balance grows every day. On KickEX, you also can stake it.
Ariana:
Truly, you’ve done AMA in many telegram groups, so what next, what other way will you make your project more popular?
Anti Danilevski:
I’ve done AMA, I think, two times in my life. Maybe three, so I am not really sure you are talking about me :)
Shin Hollingsworth 💞:
Regulation is very important. Many projects were closed in many countries due to failure to use the correct regulations and permits. In order to go global, how does your team deal with these issues?
Anti Danilevski:
In all my live events, or video interviews, etc, I’ve been saying that regulations are a must. If they would be there in 2017, a lot fewer people would lose money on ICOs’. So we are fully legal, with licenses, etc. This is why we do not accept US citizens yet — we do not have the required licenses. But we are working on it.
✈️✈️✈️CALL ME🚀:
Is your platform global or is there any restriction to certain regions?
Anti Danilevski:
We do not allow US, Canada, and sanctioned countries, unfortunately. But it will be solved sooner or later.
Jessica Mullen:
Almost 80% of investors have just focused on the price of tokens in short term instead of understanding the real value of the project. Can you tell us on motivations and benefits for investors to hold your token in long term?
Anti Danilevski:
Totally right. A lot of current holders bought KICK in 2019–2020 for about x30 times cheaper than it costs now, and many are fixing profits. So, when they will be done with it, accompanied with burning and staking, but deflationary model, KICK will see the new ATH. Can’t say how long it will take, but I think most of those who bought KICK cheap already sold them.
BIT_Boss APE’S $BANANA:
What are the steps to become a part of your community, and start getting revenues? Where do we buy, where do we sign up? This looks like an amazing project!
Anti Danilevski:
Thank you! You can buy on BitGlobal, or on KickEX, or other exchanges where KICK is listed, depending on your preference. For US people, there is Uniswap and Sushiswap.
Nobita Sato:
Do you have any Bug Bounty to check for weakness? In what way do you plan to make Your project more complete??
Anti Danilevski:
Yes, we have. It is live for years, and sometimes we receive really valuable feedback via it.
Sharron Stafford:
Do you have a whitepaper if yes please share it with?
Anti Danilevski:
Sure: https://kickecosystem.com/static/KICKECOSYSTEM_WP4.pdf
BIT_Boss APE’S $BANANA:
Do you guys feel satisfied by seeing your progress and achievements till now, when you look back to the day when you have started this project?
Anti Danilevski:
Not a lot of teams who raised funds via ICO did release anything at all. Actually, less than 5%, by my estimation, most of them have vanished. So yes, I am satisfied, but there are many things to achieve yet, and my satisfaction is not complete. We have things to do, and I’ll be fully satisfied when I’ll reach my ultimate goal — at least top-10 and IPO.
Lynette McCarthy:
Which one of these aspects is important for you? 1-Increasing Token Price & Value 2-Empowering Platform Development 3-Building Community Trust 4-Expanding Partnership Globally In what order?
Anti Danilevski:
All are important, but development and community are our top priorities. Everything else will come after those two points organically.
Ariana:
Can you tell me more details on the IDO? The schedule and contribution for each?
Anti Danilevski:
We do not plan IDO, we had a successful ICO in 2017.
Anti Danilevski:
Okay, I think I have answered most of the questions, other questions are repeated previous, so, I think it is done! Thank you BG team, and everyone who participated!
Xinmae:
Thank you for your patient, you’re so nice!
Anti Danilevski:
And thank you too! :)
Xinmae:
Congratulations to the guys who responded! That’s it! Thank you all!
