Developer Diaries: Updates for the 37 Week
Android
We have significantly improved the security and stability of the web connection in the app. Issues with the display of balance, available funds, and reserves have been fixed. Work is ongoing to restore the registration and Google authentication functionality. In upcoming updates, we will add the ability to sell cryptocurrency for fiat through the payment provider AvanChange.
iOS
We have enhanced the information related to withdrawals and transaction history, and added a warning message on the main screen in case of technical maintenance. The token price is now displayed. In the future, we plan to integrate with the payment provider AvanChange, allowing users to purchase cryptocurrency with fiat.
Web
In the next two weeks, we expect the release of a new portfolio page as part of the user wallet interface update. Our main efforts are currently focused on this area.
Infrastructure
We have migrated the test environment to a new infrastructure, which will significantly improve the platform’s security, stability, and throughput. This will pave the way for the launch of Demo Trading — a test platform where users can get acquainted with the KickEx exchange interface and practice trading using test funds. After a week of testing, we will proceed with migrating the production environment to the new infrastructure. These changes will enhance the security, stability, and speed of the system, as well as open up new opportunities for implementing additional functionality and the updated trading interface. After these improvements, we plan to increase liquidity for several trading instruments in both spot and margin trading.
General changes
We are also working on integrating a new KYC provider to improve the user verification process, transitioning to a more secure solution to ensure data protection. As you know, without completing KYC, it is impossible to purchase cryptocurrency via bank cards through our partner services AvanChange and Mercuryo. This restriction will be lifted, but for those who haven’t completed KYC, the purchase limit via any bank cards, including Russian banks, will still be limited to an equivalent of $1000 per month.
