The KickEX exchange develops the platform daily, offering its members various tools for working on it. At the same time, the exchange constantly faces various scam schemes and fraudulent ways to lure money from partners and clients of the site.
“Recently, we exposed another scheme: token issuing companies, our potential partners, are approached by suspicious listing agents offering extremely favorable conditions for listing. They write from spoofing email addresses — that is, fake, imitating addresses in the KickEx domain, and urge to pay them money through a special form. Naturally, they have nothing to do with the exchange and are exclusively engaged in extortion,” comments Anti Danilevsky, CEO and founder of Kick Ecosystem.
In order not to fall for the tricks of scammers, it is important to remember the following rules:
- Discuss listing terms and costs only with real members of the exchange’s listing team. Their profiles have a characteristic signature in the official @KickICO Telegram group, for example:
- Always request listing agent verification from the listing team or the admins of the official @KickICO Telegram group. To do this, use the official @KickICO group and send a message to a team representative or administrator.
- Never make payments to third-party addresses. Payment for listing services is debited exclusively from your account on the KickEX exchange.
“The more critical the times, the more complex the technologies, the more sophisticated the tricks of unscrupulous market participants. The money transferred to scammers, as a rule, cannot be returned. Therefore, we urge all partners and clients to be extremely vigilant and attentive,” sums up Anti Danilevsky.
