KickToken & Exchanges: Positive actions ahead of an important year

As well as developing new products and features that will spice up your crypto lives in the years to come, it’s essential that we know when to exit moves that aren’t working out the way we envisioned

With only two weeks to go until Christmas break, Kick Ecosystem still has a lot to get through before the festive period. As we prepare for 2020 and our most exciting year yet, we’re getting ready to unleash new innovations which we believe will change the face of crypto trading, fundraising and much more.

As well as developing new products and features that will spice up your crypto lives in the years to come, it’s essential that (like all of the best traders!) we know when to exit moves that aren’t working out the way we envisioned.

There will be plenty of opportunities and other partnerships on the Kick journey, so today we are saying goodbye to the DCoin, P2PB2B and TOKOK exchanges. Effective immediately and at our request, KickToken is no longer available at these exchanges. If you require to do any withdrawals, please contact the exchanges directly.

Why did we make this decision?
During our partnership with these exchanges, it became obvious that they could not provide sufficient liquidity. Low trading volumes enable token prices to be manipulated too easily. This can negatively impact the information displayed on Coinmarketcap and cause unnecessary concern for traders.

Fairness and transparency are core values of the Kick Ecosystem, and so we are committed to preventing activity such as pump & dumps which deceive traders and disguise the true organic value of tokens and projects.

We are also considering delisting from other small no-volume exchanges that do not do any good for the KickToken. If the situation with providing liquidity does not improve for some exchanges, we will delist KICK ourselves without further notice or a special announcement from our side. Our policy will remain for every exchange that we cooperate with.

We’re sure the Kick community will understand the logic, and continue to support us in 2020 as we advance quickly to the launch of our KickEX exchange.
