In Colombia the Kickico team joined the discussion on the future of the blockchain and cryptoindustry.

An important event of the international blockchain congress is a conference in the capital of Colombia, Bogota. Co-founder of Kickico Alexandr Petrov, CEO of Synergy Crypto Adviser, ambassador of NEM for Latin America Pedro Gutierrez, ambassador of NEM for Colombia Rafael Torres and founder of Menaskop exchange Vladimir Popov made their speeches.

Why Colombia needs blockchain?

Blockchain will help the notary to be convinced of the reliability of the diploma or the certificate, to suppliers of emeralds to be protected from fakes, and to the government of Colombia to spend the transparent, fair elections.

What are the prospects for the blockchain?

Vladimir Popov: — The cryptoindustry is developing at a rapid pace. Here are the main development directions: block and smart contracts, scavenging and atomic processing, robotization, Internet of things, virtual and augmented reality. The Colombian cryptocommunity have resources for development in any of these areas.

Alexander Petrov: — The blockchain industry is a new, unregulated area. A huge ecosystem is born and developed before our very eyes, and everyone can contribute to its development. Now governments often decide first to ban everything, and then, perhaps, gradually to resolve, and this is normal.
